Rustoper VCIrus-159 VCI shrink film is produced using advanced gas-phase anti rust technology and material composite process. After the protected object is heat sealed and packaged through vci shrink flim , the VCI anti rust factor formed by the volatilization of VCI forms a dense protective film layer with molecular thickness on the surface of the protected object, isolating the water moisture, oxygen, and other harmful corrosive factors in the packaging space from the surface of the protected object, blocking the mechanism of electrochemistry reaction, and thus avoiding the occurrence of rust and corrosion.

Application methods

Make a cover and base sheet of the size of the equipment using a special heat sealer.

Take EPE foam and wrap all the parts of the equipment which are sharp or protruding and can cause film to puncture during the shrinking operation or during storage or transporation.

Add Desiccants, Emitter powders or emitter devices in the hollow areas of the equipment.

The fabricated cover can be put over & under the equipment and joint using the heat shrink tape.

Set the gun temperature to 250 ℃ and allow it to reach a constant temperature

Start shrinking the equipment by standing atleast 2 feet away from the equipment to avoid tears.

Consistently heat shrink the film by constantly moving the shrink gun along the film.

Avoid focusing the shrink gun at a fixed place for a long time to avoid puncturing or tearing.

At the joints, make sure the overlap of the film is sealed properly and the two overlapping layers are melted and bonded to avoid any water entry.

At any joints the tape can be applied but is not necessary as the RUST-X Shrink has the capability to fuse between different layers forming a strong waterproof bond.

A fall protection net is then placed over the equipment.

Packaging and storage

Store in a cool dry place and always keep VCI film wrapped when not in use
